Interested in training a therapy dog?

Offered at Ocean County College & Brookdale Community College

Classes are run every semester, see below for current schedule.

Learn the Skills You Need to Succeed!

For the first four classes we’ll meet for 1.5 hours each time for a hands on training session where you and your dog will learn and practice the skills for therapy work.

Therapy Evaluation through Bright & Beautiful

During our final class (class 5) you’ll undergo your Therapy Evaluation with a Bright & Beautiful Evaluator​!
R

Dogs must be dog and stranger friendly.

R

Some Prior Training Required.

Pre-requisites: Basic Sit, Down, Stay, Come & Loose Leash Walking.
R

Dogs Must Be Current on Vaccines to Attend.

Dogs must be current on all vaccines  to attend classes, including Rabies, KCV, DHPP.

Dogs & Owners do not need to be perfect! They just need to work  together as a team
